A Midtown office tower is re-envisioned as a series of duplex and triplex townhouse-style residences, replacing outdated commercial floors with a multi-level typology that supports modern, family-driven live/work needs while diversifying the NYC’s housing stock. A new unitized façade system is grafted onto the existing steel frame, speeding contruction and refreshing the tower’s identity.
